CIDESCO  and CIBTAC students  have completed their two week work experience  placements in some of the UK and overseas  most exclusive Spas and Salons.

This work placement  in the industry is such a vital component of the CIDESCO and CIBTAC Beauty Therapy Course offering students  the opportunity to really be part of this challenging but exciting profession.

Many of the UK’s award winning Spas offered places to our students including Champneys, Ragdale Hall, Grayshott Spa and the Lifehouse.   A number of students went overseas to Denmark, South Africa and Majorca.  We really appreciate the extensive  support given by Spas and Salons to make this such a successful and rewarding opportunity.

Many of this year’s students graduating at the end of June have found employment in the beauty industry, either resulting from their work experience placement, from college introductions or from vacancy’s advertised.  The remaining few are at interview and trade testing stages.

Our Third Open Day of the year was held on Thursday 13th June and was successfully attended by those interested in beauty therapy courses.  Prospective students from many parts of the UK and Europe attended the Open Day for a “look around”  or interviews with interest  in all courses. Limited places are available now on the full time and part time courses. Evening class, a popular way to study is gaining momentum and is always well subscribed.

We are now opening enrolment for our January 2014 CIDESCO course which offers a new professional career start to a New Year!

CIDESCO and CIBTAC students attended a lovely day at Bath Spa, splashing about in the outside pool, making full use of the Spa facilities,  enjoying lunch followed by a careers talk really encouraged the students to think about this type of environment for their future career pathway.  After their Spa visit the students enjoyed some retail therapy in the lovely shopping areas of Bath.

Birmingham Beauty Exhibition was attended by all students from OICB and the chance to meet Exhibitors, purchase products and see new innovations really captured their imagination and enthusiasm for all things beauty.  It’s a nice way to see products and equipment and meet like minded people under one roof.

Finally special congratulations to all the CIBTAC students who passed their Aesthetic Exams in April.  With high marks and excellent practical and theory achievements this group of students are now ready for the second part of their course to include Body Therapy before graduating in November 2013.

The Oxford International College of Beauty is looking forward to welcoming the new students in September 2013 and providing them with a fully comprehensive course to include all aspects of beauty therapy training.  A new beginning with a profitable end and sights set high to achieve the very best professional career is now waiting for the new intake of girls.
