OICB Diplomas

These courses are for students who already hold recognised beauty therapy or massage qualifications. These short courses are ideal for those wishing to study a subject at a time and still gain a nationally recognised qualification. The course leads to OICB qualifications that are suitable for insurance, ideal for working from home.

The syllabus is especially suited to students who wish to learn a subject quickly and focus on learning the practical skills.

 

 

Eyelash Perming

A half day course teaching the theory and practical skills of eyelash perming. Students must have an allergy test prior to the course.

Thread Vein & Skin Tag Removal

The pre-requisite for this course is a recognised electrolysis qualification with at least two years experience, or one year if an OICB graduate. The one day course covers the theory and practical skills required in the removal of thread veins, spider naevus, blood spots and skin tags.

The pre-requisite for this course is a recognised anatomy, physiology and massage qualification. This unique two day course explores the ancient Indian spiritual tradition of massaging the head, neck and upper back with the exclusive OICB routine.

Thermal Auricular Therapy (Hopi Ear Candling)

Anatural therapy originally used by the native North American Hopi Indian tribe. A one day course teaching the knowledge and healing technique using ear candles.

Reflexolology

The prerequisite for this course is a recognised Anatomy & Physiology qualification. Study includes the history, theory and philosophy of reflexology, the concepts and theories as to how and why it works in relation to treatments, techniques, zones and their relation to organs and functions of the body. The course works towards a CIBTAC qualification.

The pre-requisite for this course is a recognised Anatomy & Physiology qualification. The course includes the history and study of essential oils to help treat the body through massage. The course is an individual unit of NVQ 3.

A uniform is required for all courses. Some courses require an equipment kit, please enquire. Graduates will receive an OICB Diploma.

Students are taught in a friendly environment to the highest professional standards. As well as the general course of study, students will be set regular homework, case studies and assignments to complete during the course.

Please note these courses are NOT subject to an interview, and formal qualifications are not required.
